Going On Line

I run a small successful shop and I have decided that it is time that I started offering an on line service. I never thought that it was necessary before because I tend to appeal to quite a local market and I have had no trouble attracting customers. However, lately I have found that the shop is not a busy as it used to be and I have been finding it hard to sell certain items. I have also had some customers asking me if they can buy things from me on line. I realise that selling on line will be time consuming and hard work and I may also have to adapt what I am selling there as what I sell in the shop may not be the right thing to sell on line. However, this is the easy bit, because I know nothing about setting up a website or processing eChecks and other payments. I have even started coming across new terms such as EFT Payment which I know that I will have to learn all about if I want to make a success of it. I have decided that I will spend a little bit of time each day learning about on line selling and I will hopefully soon have enough knowledge and confidence to start to do something about it.
