Fridge Repair

My sister has been having all sorts of trouble with her fridge lately. It keeps leaking on the floor and there is always a small puddle of water in her kitchen. No one wears shoes in her house and so everyone gets wet socks or tights if they forget to avoid the puddle, which can be most annoying, especially for visitors who are not used to avoiding the wet spot. It has been annoying them for a very long time, but they cannot afford a new fridge and not even a repairman who is an expert in industrial refrigeration to come and take a look at it for them. Luckily she has managed to get it fixed at last. Her boyfriend did it. He did not know much about fridges and had a quick look and tried cleaning a few bits but that did not work. Then he found this fantastic website which had lots of information about ammonia refrigeration and so he learned all about how the system worked, which gave him some clues as to what may have been going wrong in the fridge and he was successful in finding the fault and getting it to work again.
