When I was little I used to hate clothes shopping

When I was little I used to hate clothes shopping and my children are beginning to as well. I remember trailing around every shop in town with my mother while she looked at formal dresses for weddings and parties and found nothing that she liked or fitted. We would end up going back to the first shop we went to and getting her something which she almost liked and then we would have to start again looking at womens shoes and handbags to match. It is no wonder I do not like clothes shopping very much. I suppose I prefer it when I have money to spend and when I feel thin and so fit in clothes in a small size! There is nothing more flattering than the clothes size that you thought you were, being far too baggy! Nowadays I am often looking for these sorts of clothes but I try my hardest not to drag my sons around with me, but leave them with someone else so that they do not have to endure what I did as a child! I do take them if buying clothing for them and they seem to find that boring enough! They just want to find toy shops at the moment, but I am sure that will change.
