Garmin GPS

My friend is obsessed by new technology. I do not understand it myself, I guess I just do not have the time to keep learning how to use new things all of the time. I am happy with my Garmin 296 and know how to use it so see no reason to buy a new one. We actually bought one each when I got mine because my previous system broke and I asked him to come with me help me choose a new one, being as he is an expert in such things. He decided to buy himself one at the same time. However since he has upgraded to a Garmin 396 which I suppose I was not surprised about. At least he sells his old models so he doesn’t completely waste them as he looks after them well and they are always in good working order. He has only just got it and he is already going on about the Garmin 496 and how is going to get one of those very soon! I suppose being a single bloke he has nothing much else to do with his time, perhaps when he settles down and has a wife and children to support he will have to think harder before buying so many new things.
