Hair Loss Products

My father is now suffering from thinning hair and beginning to get a bit sensitive about it. I think when it was just receding a bit, he was not that worried as it was not that noticeable but now that it is thinning on the crown as well and getting lighter in colour, it is really having a big effect on the way that he looks. Personally I do think it looks fine, it rather suits him to have lighter hair. Of course he may not see it that way, having had dark thick hair for such a long time, it would take a lot of getting used to. I took a look at a photo of him taken 10 years ago, just the other day, and it was amazing how different he looked just because his hair was thicker and darker. I suppose having a beard makes it more obvious as that is also getting lighter and thinner in places. It is tempting to mention to him about a hair loss product to see whether he might like to try one, but I think that may just make him more self concious about it as he will then be aware that I have noticed.
