Birthday Presents

I have been searching around for a birthday present for my niece. She is at a difficult age as she is growing out of toys but she is not a grown up yet. I am trying to think what might be good for her to have. She has lots of educational things and so I think it would be nice to get her something fun. I have decided not to go for make up as her mother does not like her wearing it and so I am thinking that perhaps jewellery might be the way to go. She does have a selection of jewellery but mainly cheap stuff or childish brightly coloured plastic things and I think it would be nice for her to have something more grown up. I have therefore been looking at perhaps getting her some heart charm bracelets as they are still fun but not so childish, as what she has. But then I have wondered whether a necklace might be better as she has some lovely dresses and it may go really well with those. I have seen a starfish necklace which I think she might really like as again it is fun and not too grown up but also not too childish.
