Are you wounded?

If you are sportsmen engaged in active sports day in and day out, then hurts and injuries will be a part and parcel of your everyday life. Then what do you do to treat these wounds that you so relentlessly suffer at the sports ground? Heat and cold can be used to reduce the intensity of the injuries that you so sustain and hence can be of great help in treatment of these injuries. Heating pad is found in the market today and this act by heating up our muscles thereby relieving them of any sprains or strains. While applying heating pad there are a soothing effect that is felt and this will also reduce the pain to a great extent. Cold therapy on the other hand reduces bleeding and also the pain as it cools down the body and hence the pain also slowly subsides. Cold therapy can also be used to bring down the intensity of the muscle tissue breakdown and hence can thereby bring down the actual gravity of the wound. Heating pad and cold therapy techniques need to be applied in particular instances and they need to be tried and tested before hand to prevent any erroneous usage.
